Hindle Makes Bright Start to Dressage

Team GB’s Emma Hindle is currently in second place in the Olympic Games dressage competition with half of the riders having completed the first grand prix test tonight (Wednesday).

Hindle, riding Lancet, scored 71.125 points from her first test to lie second behind Germany’s Heike Kemmer, riding Bonaparte.

Jane Gregory, the other Briton to have ridden her first test tonight, is currently 12th with 63.375 points on Lucky Star.

The GB team are currently second overall, although only six teams have got rankings – they do not get a ranking until two of their riders have completed their opening test.

Britain’s third team member, Laura Bechtolsheimer, riding Mistral Hojris, completes her grand prix test tomorrow (Thursday).
